July 2009

I’m coming to the end of my six month bonus period (Thursday at 11:59 PDT to be exact), and I’m just one consultant away from $7,000!  I’m confident I’ll get there…in fact, I’ve been on the phone all day setting appointments for this week.  I may have up to 3 or more by Thursday!  God is GOOD!  I even received a surprise email today from a new retail customer, which may convert to a consultant after she uses the products and finds out she loves them!

I missed our Monday meeting tonight so I could be with Will at football practice and then cook mushroom soup and watch Nacho Libre with him tonight…it was fun, we laughed, we ate soup and we spent quality time together!  What could be more awesome than that?

I’m loving my life more and more every day…awesome son, awesome God, awesome home, incredible neighbors, great family, wonderful friends, and an amazing new career that has caught me by surprise…I love what I do for the first time!  WOW.  So what’s left?  Let’s see…a healthy, fit body…an amazing partner, best friend and husband.  I think that would be the icing on the cake.  We’ll see if God agrees! :-)

My story is being featured this month on Rodan+Fields’ website.  I’ve just promoted to Level 5, which is the top position in our company…and it’s been such an incredible journey!  God has blessed my business and has brought so many incredible people into my life through it!  You can read my story HERE.

I’ve just launched a new website where prospective business partners and customers can learn more about Rodan+Fields and submit their request for an interview.  Very cool stuff!  Check it out:  www.IncredibleSkinCare.net

I just found out tonight that I have promoted to Level 5 in Rodan+Fields!  It’s the highest level in the company and on the compensation plan!  I’m elated!!!!  I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating…if I can do this ANYONE can do it!  I’ve defied the odds!!!  God is so good and so faithful!

Now that I’m here, there’s so much to do…develop other leaders, find new leaders to join my team, and continue developming my own leadership skills.  This truly is one of the most fun experiences of my life…what a great life I’m creating for myself!

I’ve just begun…there’s much to do…Lord, strengthen and use me for Your glory every step of the way!

I recently ran into an old friend at Target who I hadn’t seen in almost 2 years.  We got together last night and caught up on our lives, and it was such an interesting conversation.  This is a guy I went out with and we both decided early on that we didn’t really have that spark, but we did enjoy each other’s company.  But, as life gets busy and other relationships come along, we lost touch…until now.  His heart was recently broken and he lost a great job due to the economy.  But his attitude is something else.  After just a month of being unemployed, he was offered another job, which is almost unheard of in these times…so what a blessing!  We exchanged stories and experiences and laughed over the silliness of our situations.

He’s a really good guy.  Why is it that neither of us feel the spark for anything other than a great friendship?  It just doesn’t make sense!!!!  Either he’s a jerk and can’t live without you, or he’s a jewel and can’t live with you!  I don’t get it!!!

Regardless, it’s good to have him back in my life.  At least until his next girlfriend sweeps him off his feet!

It’s been way too long since my last post…I wanted so badly to be consistent with this and I’m going to recommit to be better and more consistent with my entries.  After all, my life is one worth writing about!!!

So, let me recap the past weeks since my last post and get you up to speed…from May 13 until now:

  • my best friend’s son, who i’ve known since he was 4, graduated from high school
  • my son finished 2nd grade
  • my son played an incredible season of flag football
  • we adopted 2 kittens from Happy Tails, Whiskers and Tiger…they are a blast
  • I spent nearly a week in San Juan, Puerto Rico and decided I don’t need to go back…at least not for vacation
  • I spent 5 days in southern California…L.A. and Irvine…that’s definitely a place I’ll go back to
  • and I’ve been playing catch up ever since!

My Rodan+Fields business continues to soar…over 400 in my organization now and growing every day!  It’s truly amazing!  I’m one Executive leg away from Level 5, which is the highest level in the company!  AND, I’m on track for the $7,000 bonus!  I am truly blown away by this opportunity…never in a million years did I ever dream I’d have this kind of opportunity and the hope for a solid financial future…as a single mom nonetheless!   GOD IS GOOD, do you hear me????

I’m heading to Cincinnati next week for an invitation-only leadership retreat with one of our founding consultants, Sarah Robins.  She’s having Char Knox come as our speaker…she’s a coach to network marketers, so it’s going to be an awesome retreat!

Every day I’m more and more convinced that Will’s and my life is truly in God’s hands…He’s brought us a long way from 6 years ago when we first started out on our new life as mom and son.  His dad is a good dad…and they have a great relationship, so that’s a huge blessing.  Our every need is provided for and we even have room for extras now and then.

So, you’re up to speed…for now! :)
